蝶 A butterfly

アトリエの玄関で越冬したさなぎがとうとう羽化した。
寒い日が続いたので、その間は、放さず、スケッチしたりした。じっとしていてくれるから描きやすい。晴れてあたたかくなった朝、窓を開けた。しばらくベランダの山椒の枝にとまっていてひよわそうに風に羽をふるわせていたけれど、とんでいった。２００メートルくらい先のビルの角を曲がって、見えなくなっちゃった。ひよわそうに見えていたのに、実際はたのもしいのだった。えらい。
A chrysalis that passed the winter in my studio finally emerged.
I drew the unreleased butterfly for some days, since it had been cold outside.
It stayed still for a long time while I drew, so it was easy to draw.
One morning, since it was sunny and warm, I opened the window of my studio.
The butterfly moved to a branch of a plant at the veranda and trembled its wing in the spring wind. Then several minutes later, it flew away.
It went out of sight after turning right at the corner of a building 100 meters away. It looked very weak, but it was really tough.
